Here at Workwear Pro Direct we are a pretty active bunch and we like to advocate this within our business choices by affiliating ourselves with companies of similar values.
Being based in the beautiful village of Thorncombe we are blessed with easy access to the great outdoors but we know this isn’t the case for all. To help show our support for keeping people active this year in the beautiful countryside of the UK we have collaborated with Channel Events and have sponsored some of their 2021 events, their most recent event being the Minehead Triathlon! This is such a fantastic event to challenge yourself mentally and physically and become part of their inclusive community.
The triathlon course comprises of a 750m sea swim off Minehead Beach, an undulating and scenic 20km out and back bike course before heading out on the 5km run course! Sounds pretty tough doesn’t it?! But don’t worry the Channel Events team cheer you on all the way to help you accomplish your goals.
Participants raced off through the giant branded start arch and event marshals led the way in their luminous orange TRIBE t-shirts all provided by the Workwear Pro Direct team along with the red branded finishers T-Shirts, given out to all participants to wear with pride after their mighty triumph!
Big events like this require routes to be carefully signposted so we were delighted to also join forces with our sister company Signage4u who provided the scrim to add that extra touch of theatre at the start and finish.
It’s been a whirlwind of an event season this year, which has kept us incredibly busy. It’s fantastic to see such great events like this back keeping us active and bringing smiles to peoples faces.
