Workwear Pro Direct, is very aware of the negative impact that large-scale events can have on the environment.
Concerned at the volume of post-event materials that ended up in landfill and in line with the company’s sustainability ethos, Martyn Perry (CEO) launched a customer “Buy Back” scheme. The first company in the UK to offer such a service, Buy Back allows customers to send back their unwanted workwear in return for payment.
For every 100kg of product that a customer returns they receive a £30 credit to their account. All the Buy Back returns are recycled or disposed of by a waste disposal company in an environmentally safe and efficient way.
With an expanded product range that now includes workwear clothing and staff uniforms, Buy Back covers all garments (of any material) as well as footwear and fabric event paraphernalia.
Since its launch in January 2019, 850kg of unwanted promotional clothing, workwear and event materials have been recycled under the Buy Back scheme. Without this service, these materials would undoubtedly have ended up in landfill.
The first of its kind, Buy Back is a win for the environment and a win for the customer!
