Charitable corporate giving is not just the work of the multinational corporates as proven by Identity, the parent company of soon to be launched Workwear Pro Direct.
Since 2017, the parent company of Workwear Pro Direct and supplier of branded clothing, workwear and promotional event materials has donated 2.5% of its total sales value to charity.
To date, over £9,000 has been donated through the ongoing Gift Back scheme benefitting several charities, one of whom includes local charity the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Gift Back was created by Martyn Perry, CEO as he wanted to ensure that the success of his business had a positive effect on the wider community.
Participating in Gift Back is free. It does not cost the customer any extra yet gives them the feel-good of knowing that their purchase is creating positive social impact. Each time they buy 2.5% of the total order value automatically drops into the Gift Back pot (after an initial £150 qualifying spend).
An update to the scheme this year means that the primary Gift Back beneficiary for 2020/21 will be The Amber Foundation a charity offering a home and hope for a better future to young people who are experiencing complex challenges namely homelessness, long term unemployment, trauma and mental ill health.
However, if another charity refers a customer to Workwear Pro Direct and they make a purchase the charity that referred them will receive the 2.5% donation.
Any charities that would like to know more about the Gift Back referral scheme should contact Martyn Perry at 0800 0239 290.
